BOCA gelato is the creation of award-winning chef Adam D’Sylva, and pastry chef Monika Frkovic, both of Coda and Tonka fame. With a unique offering of classic Italian flavours alongside, unexpected flavours. At BOCA we like to think of our creations as the perfect balance of the expectation you crave and the surprise you didn’t know you wanted. 

 

Behind the colourful terrazzo counter of our Ivanhoe gelateria you’ll find everything from fresh Lemon gelato for the purists, right through to offerings like Basque Burnt Cheesecake or Pumpkin Spice for the adventurous. We love to experiment, and update our specials frequently.

 

All our gelato is thoughtfully made from scratch, using the best dairy products supplied by ‘That’s Amore’ and flavours sourced from natural origins.

 

BOCA offers gelato in cups, cones, takeaway tubs, soft serve, milk shakes, thick shakes, choc tops, traditional tartufo (chocolate-coated gelato balls) or frozen cakes, like Passionfruit Bombe Alaska. 

 

Our toppings include house-made cookie crumbs, mini malt balls and honeycomb, along with our constantly flowing chocolate fountain.
